Housing.com fires CEO Rahul Yadav

Ambitious Internet real estate portal Housing.com, backed by a glittering clutch of global investors, summarily fired its co-founder and CEO Rahul Yadav on Wednesday, evidently displeased with his attitude and public tantrums that overpowered his talent and technology skills. The 26-year-old IIT dropout, whose future was being speculated keenly on social media became an anti-hero icon for thr generation of brash entrepreneurs, had publicly described his investors as “intellectually incapable” and then went on to relinquish all his shares in a bid to put his mission ahead of his money. Flipkart offers big discount on App shopping day

  To make its mobile app more popular, leading Indian online retailer Flipkart has once again started its three-day-long 'Big App Shopping Days'. Limited only for mobile app users, the sale started on Monday. Flipkart is offering attractive discounts on many popular smartphones, including Xiaomi Mi 4, during the sale period. Through the Big App Shopping Day, Flipkart has also started selling OnePlus One 16GB and 64GB editions, which were so far only available on Amazon, and Xiaomi Mi band. GO SHOPPING - Flipkart Buys Appiterate to Win Over App Aadmi

Flipkart has announced the acquisition of Appiterate, a mobile engagement and marketing automation company.  Appiterate helps ecommerce companies target consumers better and increase sales by using push notifications and in-app messages. The deal size was not disclosed.
